PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electronic device which is produced by using a charge- transporting polymer having good electrical characteristics and capable of being supplied stably at a low cost. SOLUTION: This device contains a charge-transporting polymer as one of its constituents, subject to the conditions that a metal-contg. catalyst is used in the polymn. of a monomer for or in the graft polymn. for producing the polymer and that the content of the metal is 50ppm or lower. A pref. example of the device is an electrophotographic photoreceptor.
