PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide resistance to impact and toughness and also improve the pen point visibility, resistance to impact and repeating fitting properties as a cap of a writing instrument by forming the cap for the writing instrument by a methacrylic synthetic resin composition formed by mixing methacrylic synthetic resin with an acrylic rubber. SOLUTION: Transparent methacrylic resin is of superior compatibility with a transparent acrylic rubber, and a uniform molded product can be formed by mixing them together. An inner hole 1 of a cap A is provided with a pin point storage chamber 2 for storing a pin point of a writing instrument main body and a pen point insert opening 3, and the pin point storage chamber 2 is divided from other sections by a peripheral airtight keeping protrusion 4. A writing instrument fitting protrusion 5 positioned closer to the pin point insert hole 3 than the position of the airtight keeping protrusion 4 is formed in the inner hole 1, and a part of the pin insert hole 3 side of the fitting protrusion 5 is fitted overriding the protrusion forming a fitting section of the writing instrument main body. A clip 6 is formed integrally on the outer side face of the cap A. |
