PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a bathing agent having excellent touch of warm water in bathing, giving sufficient dampish feeling and smooth feeling to the skin after bathing and having excellent warm-keeping effect. SOLUTION: This bathing agent contains extract of Humulus lupulus in a dry weight content of 0.01-50ppm. The extract of Humulus lupulus is obtained by using cone (ripen unfertilized female flower) of Humulus lupulus as a perennial herb of family Moraceae, drying under sunlight or in a drier and extracting with water or a solvent (e.g.; 1,3-butylene glycol). In the extraction, 1 pt.wt of dried Humulus lupulus cone is used based on 2-100 pts.wt. of a solvent and extracted at 10-80±C for >=24hrs. Other than the extract of Humulus lupulus, a sulfate, a bicarbonate, a crude drug extract, an essential oil, a perfume, oil and fat, vitamins, amino acids, a polyhydric alcohol, a pigment, etc., are suitably mixed to prepare the objective bathing agent in the form of powder, a liquid, granules, tablets, etc.
