PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon dioxide fixing material which controls the side reaction of an epoxide to prevent the decrease in carbon dioxide fixing rate. SOLUTION: This carbon dioxide fixing material containing a compound having a functional group selected from the group consisting of an isocyanate group, a hydroxyl group, an amino group, an epoxide, a carbon dioxide fixing catalyst which contains an iodide ion. Preferably, the carbon dioxide fixing catalyst also contains an electrophilic catalyst, and the iodide ion is contained as an onium salt or an alkali metal iodide. |
