PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming a coil, which does not need the winding work for a conductor and a positioning of the wound coil, and the coil. SOLUTION: A masking plate 2 provided openly with spiral holes 3 is superposed on a coil base 1 to be formed with an induction heating coil. A sandblasting is performed from the side of the plate 2 to roughen the surface, which corresponds to the holes 3, of the base 1 and thereafter, copper is thermally sprayed from the side of the plate 2. After the copper is thermally sprayed, a sandblasting is performed from the side of the plate 2 to remove the copper, which is laminated on the opening end edges of the holes 3, and the plate 2 is demounted from the base 1 to obtain the induction heating coil W. |
