PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transmitter which is capable of compensating nonlinearity with high precision and using an inexpensive amplifier with strong nonlinearity. SOLUTION: For a training period, the distortion measuring signal generated in a transmission signal generator 31 is directly inputted in a divider 361, the signal is inputted also via an amplifier 341 and a value showing distortion is calculated. For an information transmission period, a distortion compensation is performed for the transmission signal generated by a transmission signal generator by the value showing the distortion selected according to the amplitude in a multiplier 321, and the signal is modulated, amplified and outputted. Therefore, also when an amplifier with strong non-linearity is used as the amplifier, distortion can be compensated with high precision. |
