PYROLYSIS OF METAL/RESIN COMPOSITE MATERIAL AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pyrolytic method of a composite material waste facilitating release of a metal from a synthetic resin and enabling reutilization of resource in treating the waste of the composite material composed of the metal and the synthetic resin and an apparatus for carrying out the method. SOLUTION: A metal/resin composite material is heated and thermally decomposed at a prescribed temperature under reduced pressure. The objective thermally decomposing apparatus is equipped with a hermetically closed type heating container 1 constituted so as to be able to house the metal/resin composite material and heat the interior to a prescribed temperature, a pressure-reducing device 7 for connecting to the heating container 1 and reducing the pressure in the container to a prescribed evacuation degree and an absorber 6 for introducing a gas capable of generating in the heating container, and carries out adsorption treatment of the gas.
