PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel member such as a reel shaft, a reel stage, a reel hub or the like used for audio equipment, VTR, winding of electric wires and so on, which is made of inexpensive continuous filament-reinforced plastic having high elastic modulus and impact strength, excellent abrasion resistance for repeated use and less molding shrinkage factor and warping deformation, or a bobbin such as a welding-rod spool, fiber bobbin, and a cartridge bobbin. SOLUTION: The reel member or the bobbin made of continuous filament- reinforced plastic is manufactured by a drawing molding method, uses a continuous filament-reinforced thermoplastic resin pellet, which is reinforced with reinforced fiber having the higher elasticity than matrix resin, as the raw material and is molded by injection molding. In this case, at least 50wt.% of the reinforced fiber in the molded product holds the length of 1mm or more. |
