PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely inform the arrival of a call to a radio telephone set at a location with a weak electric field strength of a radio wave by providing a display device receiving a signal from a pocket beeper center and displaying a received pocket beeper signal to the radio telephone set. SOLUTION: A dial key 6A of an operation section 6 of a radio telephone set 50 is used to make dialing to an opposite terminal equipment. A CPU 1 detects it and sends an operated dial number to a MODEM 8 as call request information. The call request information is sent from the MODEM 8 to a radio transmission reception section 7 and send to a nearby base station as control data via an antenna AT1 by radio communication. Upon the receipt of the call request information in terms of a radio signal from the radio telephone set 50, the base station acquires a contained telephone line and sends the received dial number to the acquired line as a dial signal. The dial number of the opposite party is sent to the exchange, from which the opposite party is called and when the opposite party replies the call, the speech by the radio telephone set 50 is started.
