PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a make-up cosmetic excellent in the retainability of the make-up. SOLUTION: This make-up cosmetic contains 0.1-80wt.% of organopolysiloxane elastomer spherical powdery having an average particle diameter of 1.0 to 15.0μm and 0.1-50wt.% of active zinc flower. The active in zinc flower contains zinc oxide in an amount of >=75wt.% based on the whole amount of the active zinc flower (JIS 1410), has a specific surface area of >=25m<2> /g, and can be obtained e.g. by a wet method comprising reacting the solution of zinc sulfate or zinc oxide with a soda lime solution, calcining the reaction product and subsequently grinding the calcination product. The organopolysiloxane elastomer spherical powder contains a curable organopolysiloxane composition as a main agent and may be obtained through a method corresponding to the kind of a selected composition. The make-up cosmetic suitably has not only the above components but also contains additive components correspondingly to the make-up cosmetic, and is prepared into powder, foundation, lip stick, cheek rouge, eye liner, mascara, eye shadow, eyebrow pencil, etc. The form of the preparation includes a powdery form, an emulsion form, a soluble form, an oily form, a gel form, an aqueous solution form, an aerosol form, a water-oil two layer form, and a water-oil-powder form.
