PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the generation of damage of a side retainer without hindering the workability at the time of housing a plate group in a battery jar by adhering the side retainer and a resin film outside thereof to each other. SOLUTION: A plate group is formed of a positive plate 1, a retainer 3, a negative plate 2, an outside side-retainer 4, and this plate group is housed in a battery jar 6 so as to form a sealed lead-acid battery. A resin film S is adhered to the outside of the side-retainer 4 in the lower part thereof over the full surface. With this structure, the generation of damage of the side retainer due to the movement thereof is prevented at the time of housing the plate group in the battery jar without hindering the workability. |
