PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject resin composed of a specific graft product as a main component, free from the addition of a plasticizer or an additive, capable of exhibiting high dying sensitivity, excellent in the durability of image and in storage stability, and useful as a dying resin for a sublimation-type thermal recording paper. SOLUTION: This resin conrposition mainly contains a graft polymer having a maim chain consisting of a polyester having unsaturated bonds [e.g. a copolymer containing dicarboxylic acid having a polymeric unsaturated bond or a glycol having a polymeric unsaturated bond in 0-20mol%, especially 0.5-12mol%] and a side chain consisting of a polymer of a radical polymeric unsaturated monomer [e.g. (meth)acrylic acid (ester)], glass transition temperature of >=25 deg.C and molecular weight of 0.15-1.5 in terms of a reduced viscosity. |
