PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate the omission in the number of pages after restart of printing is instructed, while a faulty paper sheet is removed by a user, in the case of a fault occurrence, in the course of both side printing in a sorting mode. SOLUTION: This main CPU 100 is allowed to stack paper sheets being printed on one side on an automatic both side device, in the sorting mode of the both side printing, to display a position of jamming (fault) occurs on a LCD display 116, in the case that the jamming occurs in stage of taking-out and transporting the paper sheet, while successively taking out and transporting the paper sheet stacked on the automatic both side device, to print on counting while adding the number of detected jamming paper sheets to the number of paper sheet stacked on the automatic both side device as the printing sheet number, when the displayed jamming paper sheets are removed, and to control the device so that the printing is performed again from the beginning while the copy key 121 is depressed, in the case that the paper sheet stacked on the automatic both side device becomes running out before reaching the printing sheet number. |
