PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rice cake cutter which can cut a bar of rice cake at a certain thickness even when the bar is not constant in its height. SOLUTION: This rice cake cutter is equipped with a belt conveyer 1 which intermittently conveys a bar of rice cake M, a cutting blade 2 which vertically cuts the rice cake M before the belt conveyer 1, while the belt stops, and a rice cake presser 3 which prevents the rice cake M and the conveyer belt from slipping mutually by pressing the rice cake to the convey belt 1. In this cutter, the rice cake presser 3 is equipped with a roller-supporting arm 30 which is swingably supported over the belt conveyer 1, a rice cake-pressing roller 31 which is rotatably set to the one end of roller supporting arm 30 and an air cylinder 32 which presses down the roller-supporting arm 30. |
