PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road light for easily seizing the linear shapes of roads by lighting a central separating zone and the roads on both sides of the central separating zone. SOLUTION: A road light 1 is arranged along a central separating zone 3 and road illuminating lamps 7 are located on roads 2a, 2b with arms 6 crossing the central separating zone 3, respectively. The roads 2a, 2b are illuminated in an orange color with the road illuminating lamps 7 and the central separating zone 3 is illuminated in a white color with a central separating zone illuminating lamp 11 so that a boundary between each of the roads 2a, 2b and the central separating zone 3 can be defined and the linear shapes of the roads 2a, 2b can be defined. The road light 1 is linearly arranged to easily seize the linear shape of the central separating zone 3 and improve guiding effect on drivers. The central separating zone illuminating light 11 has a louver to prevent glare to drivers running along the roads 2a, 2b who cannot see directly a highly bright discharge lamp 19 and prevent the spread of light. |
