<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently purify regeneration smoke generated at the time of regenerating treatment by heating a catalyst in the downstream of a filter. SOLUTION: A first heater 15 and a straightening vane 16 are disposed in the upstream of a diesel particulate filter(DPF) 11, and an after-treatment device 17 composed of a second heater 19 and a catalyst 18 is disposed in the downstream of the DPF 11. The DPF 11 is heated by the first heater 15 to burn particulates collected by the DPF. The catalyst 18 is formed by holding a platinum catalyst on the surface of a carrier formed of porous metal, and fixed to a fitting plate 20 by welding. The catalyst 18 is heated by the second heater 19 so as to purify regeneration smoke generated at the time of regenerating the DPF 11.</p> |
