PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mottled pile cloth which has good color-developing properties by printing with a mottled pattern and shows high resistance to fluff-falling, high coverage of the pile face, white-wearing resistance and soft fabric hand. SOLUTION: The fibers constituting the piled part in a pile cloth contains 20-100wt.% of the fibers having H-shaped cross section where the ratio of the longitudinal length (b) to the transverse length (a) of the H-shaped cross section fiber (b/a) is <=1.2 and the relation between the longitudinal length (b) and the width of a connection part (c) is given by (b-c)/2>=2μm. Further, this pile cloth comprises (A) 20-89wt.% of polyester fibers which are substantially undyeable with the cationic dyes included in the fibers constituting the pile structure and (B) 20-80wt.% of polyester fibers which are dyeable with cationic dyes.
