PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to open and close the pouring hole properly without fail, dispense with an outer lid, make all the parts in use easy to manufacture by use of synthetic resins etc., and reduce the cost of molds by placing for the poring hole a cylindrical discharge valve of elastic material on the inner side of the top wall of the cap and a means of mechanically forcing the valve to open inside the cylindrical discharge valve. SOLUTION: To discharge liquid, first a pouring cylinder 3 is turned in a prescribed direction by an angle of rotation of 45 deg. horizontally by control of a knob 34 with fingers. As a result, a cylindrical valve 21 of a cylindrical discharge valve 2 is pushed open wide by a pair of openers 32 provided at the lower end of the pouring cylinder 3, a closed-lips-shaped valve part 22 is opened, and the cylindrical discharge valve 2 is opened. Then the container or the like is gripped, tilted, and handled in such a manner as to compress the contents or shake the contents out. In this manner the liquid inside the container is passed through the cylindrical discharge valve 2 and the pouring cylinder 3 and discharged from the top end of the pouring cylinder 3, that is, the pouring hole 31. After the discharge, the knob 36 is reversed to its former position and the cylindrical discharge valve 2 is closed again. Therefore the pouring hole can be opened and closed properly without fail. |
