PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antifouling carpet excellent in durability by attaching an antisoil finishing agent into a groove having narrow width, formed along the fiber axis using a fiber having a well crib type cross-section as a pile yarn. SOLUTION: A loop pile carpet fabric is prepared by a tufting machine using bulky crimped yarn comprising a nylon fiber having well crib type cross section as shown in the figure as a pile yarn. Then, the carpet fabric is dyed to a prescribed hue using an acidic dye by a wince dyeing machine and a finishing solution containing a fluorine-based water-repelling and oil-repelling agent is applied to the fabric by pad dry method and the fabric is dried and subjected to curing treatment to provide the objective carpet having antifouling property. |
