<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer and an image forming method that can solve such problems which occur when an org. photoreceptor having a protective layer which gives a function of wear resistance (that an image of high quality cannot be stably formed for a long time), that an image of high quality can be formed for a long time, and that can be adapted for a toner recycling system. SOLUTION: An electrostatic latent image formed on an org. photoreceptor having dispersion of fine particles in a surface layer is developed by using a developer consisting of a toner comprising at least color particles and a carrier comprising magnetic particles coated with a polyolefin resin. In this image forming method, the developer consists of a toner comprising at least color particles and a carrier prepared by coating the surface of magnetic particles with a polyolefin resin. The distribution of the grain size of the magnetic particles satisfies 0.7×D50 <D25 and 1.5×D50 >D75 , wherein Dn is the particle size (μm) of n% (by volume) particles.</p> |
