The sectional stairs (1) have wall (2) to which a support rail (4) is connected with support bolts (3). The support rail (4) rest on supports (5) which rest with common footplates (6) on the treads (7) of the stairs. The stair-lift supports a stool (8) with seat (9) and backrest (10), also a foot support (11). The stool (8) is movable in three degrees, e.g. (12) pivotal upwards/downwards around centre line (13). In the second degree (14) the stool (8) is pivotal around centre-line (15), and in a third degree the stool (8) moves up or down at (16).
