PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically correct an error due to misinput of a character string of a 1st character kind by converting a character string which is in a divided state of higher priority of division to a 2nd character kind by a character string converting means. SOLUTION: The character string correcting means 13 corrects the character string while referring to a correction rule. A candidate selecting means 16 selects one of a plurality of candidates. A divided state priority determining means 17 gives priority levels of two divided states. Further, a character string converting means 18 converts a character string of the 1st character kind into a character string of the 2nd character kind. A character string dividing means 19 divides the character string into units that can be converted. Further, a partial character string converting means 20 converts the individual divided character strings into character strings of the 2nd character string. In this case, character strings in the divided state of higher priority of division are converted by the character string converting means 20 to the 2nd character kind. |
