FIELD: electromechanical engineering; off-line power supplies for DC arc welding, wind-electric generators, or plants requiring two voltage levels. SUBSTANCE: generator has two stator stacks with multiphase armature winding and diamagnetic ring inbetween provided with air admission ports, two rotor stacks press-fitted onto common shaft concentrically with respect to stator stacks. Armature winding of each stator is connected to respective rectifier unit. EFFECT: provision for producing two voltage levels or higher current for arc welding due to sectionalized magnetic system.
