FIELD: D C manual and automatic arc welding. SUBSTANCE: D.C./D.C. converter has thyristor resonance inverter with inverted diodes, main and auxiliary resonance LC circuits, power transformer, rectifier and capacitive output filter. Auxiliary LC circuit is placed into A.C. diagonal of inverter and additional winding of choke of main LC circuit and two-way key are connected in series to it. Due to this converter maintains serviceability under all conditions from idle run to short-circuit since pulses of forward and backward currents of stable amplitude and duration are formed in auxiliary circuit. Flowing through inverter diode of inverter backward half- wave of current of auxiliary circuit cuts off thyristor of inverter even if backward half-wave of current is not formed in main LC circuit. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability and efficiency of D C/D C converter. |
