FIELD: granulation of melt of different materials, in particular sulfur, inorganic fertilizers and polymers. SUBSTANCE: granulation plant has housing 1 with first granulator 2 arranged inside it. Granulator 2 is made in form of inverted truncated cone open from below. Second granulator 6 arranged in lower portion of housing is made in form of inverted truncated cone open at top. Both granulators are provided with devices for introducing the cooling agent. First granulator is provided with melt inlet device. Second granulator is provided with perforated circular tubes 8 which are arranged horizontally and are connected with compressor 9. Cooling agent is fed to both granulators. Cooling agent is admitted through holes provided in circular tube 5 to taper walls of first granulator flowing down these walls. Jets of cooling agent escaping from first granulator which is open from bottom continue motion under their own momentum forming hollow V-shaped funnel in area of intersection of jets. After filling the second granulator with cooling agent, compressed air is fed to circular tubes 8 from compressor 9. Compressed air is introduced in cooling agent of second granulator. Melt fed through branch pipe 3 escapes from it to V-shaped funnel formed by jets of cooling agent and is broken into drops which are entrapped by flow of cooling agent into second granulator where large drops are divided into small drops under action of fluidized layer and are cooled forming granules.
