FIELD: light industry, in particular, devices for catching of insects, mainly cockroaches and Colorado beetles. SUBSTANCE: the device uses two vessels 1 and 2 placed one in the other, internal and external ones, respectively. Internal vessel 1 has an open bottom, and external vessel 2 has an exterior inclined surface intended for travel of insects to lure 5 and positioned inside it; the exterior surface of the external vessel is shaped and rough, and cylinder-shaped internal vessel 1 is furnished with annular stop 6 located from the outside in its upper part and intended for engagement with the end face of the external vessel, and supporting members 3 for vessel 4 with the lure positioned inside the vessel in its lower part; cover 8 is installed on internal vessel 1 forming gap 7 for passage of insects inside the vessel, and material 10 is applied onto its exterior and interior surfaces to reduce the frictional forces of travelling insects sue to reduction of the coefficient of sliding friction of the material of internal vessel 1 up to the loss of their adhesion to the vessel walls.
