FIELD: foundry, mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to three modifications of castings for 8-, 10- and 12-cylinder engines. Casting is based and anchored on central shaft carrying testing units and has drive from power cylinder to rotate article with testing members. Left support-carriage is placed in guides, moves along axis of shaft and is registered in definite position depending on length of article (on modification of article). All three modifications can be tested on proposed stand in case of insufficient readjustment, i.e. movement of registered carriage with rearrangement of corresponding testing members in sections 6,, < 7(sections 1, 7- surfaces of articles for mounting of bearings). EFFECT: diminished number of stands testing castings of engine cases, increased productivity. |
