FIELD: sugar industry, more particularly production of sugar. SUBSTANCE: claimed process makes it possible to intensify saturation process, increase the degree of utilization of carbon dioxide contained in saturation gas, improve purification efficiency of diffusion juice. Sugar- containing solutions are purified with air-gas mixture containing 34-60% carbon dioxide recovered from spent gases of 1 st saturation. EFFECT: more efficient purification process.
