PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a holding power and an agitating power of absorbing liquid in a low flow rate region, improve a heat transmission and a substance transmission and further improve a performance of an air-cooled absorbing device. SOLUTION: In a heat transfer pipe of an absorbing device in which absorbing liquid such as LiBr (lithium boron) solution or the like is flowed down along an inner wall, water vapor is flowed in a pipe, some fins are installed outside the pipe, this is cooled with cooling medium such as air or the like, thereby water vapor is absorbed into the absorbing liquid, a groove formed in the pipe is made in a non-symmetrical shape at a section perpendicular to a forming direction of the groove. This heat transfer pipe having a groove at its inner surface is made such that one of anglesθ1 ,θ2 between a groove bottom plane and both side surfaces of the groove has a smaller angle than the other in a range of 70 deg. to 110 deg., a twisting angle of a helical groove is 15 deg. to 45 deg. its groove pitch is P=0.4 to 4.0mm and a groove depth H is H=0.3 to 0.7mm.
