PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electric double layer capacitor in which an insulating board can be fixed to the electrode surface facing a printed board by forming means for holding the insulating board on one electrode surface side and bending the circumferential fringe of insulating board toward the center of a capacitor body at the intermediate part of each lead terminal. SOLUTION: An insulating board 11 is made of a heat resistant electric insulating material and has outer diameter equal to or smaller than that of a capacitor body 10. The insulating board 11 is provided with means 30 being stopped at the circumferential fringe on the other electrode surface side of the capacitor body 10 and self-holding the insulating board 11 on one electrode surface side. Each lead terminal 12, 13 is bent, at the intermediate part thereof, toward the center of capacitor body 10 so that insulating board 11 is held from the opposite sides thus shortening the interval D of the lead terminals 12, 13 as compared with a conventional case. |
