<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the character and figure data input device with which a character and a figure can freely be plotted as if there were a canvas on a display device. SOLUTION: The input device 1 is constituted by arranging a plurality of pressure sensors 7 linearly and providing a position sensor 8 for outputting a two-dimensional coordinate position; when the input device 1 is moved, the position of the input device 1 is measured by a position measuring means 9 according to the signal from the position sensor 8 and the pressure of the input device 1 that the respective pressure sensors 7 receive is measured by a pressure measuring means 11. A pressure gradation converting means 12 converts the pressure value measured by the pressure measuring means 11 into a specific gradation, and a display means 10 displays the position of the input device 1 measured by the position measuring means 9 on the display device 1 with a cursor and makes a light-dark display of dots at the periphery of the cursor with the gradation converted by the pressure gradation converting means 2.</p> |
