PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount plural connectors by making them close to each other, and to provide a thin connector, by forming the structure to release the lock while operating a lock pin by a slide member in a case according to the sliding of a slide plate for lock releasing. SOLUTION: When a connector 1 for cable connecting is removed from a connector 3 for a PC card, slide plates 24 on the main surfaces at the upper side and the lower side of a case 9 are slid being contacted with the fingers, so as to move a slide member 16 in the case 9. As a result, the lock claw 12 of a lock piece 10 with the flexibility is removed from the hole 20 of the lock piece 19 of the connector 3, so as to release the lock. Consequently, the connection of the connector 1 and the connector 3 can be released while the slide plates 24 are left in such a conditions. When the connector 1 is connected to the connector 3, the slide member 16 is slid by a compression spring 23 even though the fingers do not touch the slide plates 24, and the lock piece 10 is engaged to the recess 22, so as to accomplish the locking.
