PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reading facility by detecting surrounding picture element colors in the rectangular territory surrounding the display territory of a character, detecting an average surrounding picture element color obtained in the surrounding picture element colors, and setting a color of which the number of existence is a few in the surrounding picture element colors and the difference against the color information of the average surrounding picture element color is large, as the character color. SOLUTION: A control device 1 reads a surrounding picture element color detecting program, and detects the RGB value of a surrounding picture element from character data in a data memory 3 and image data piled with the character data. The obtained RGB value is received in a territory for surrounding picture element color in the data memory 3, as the surrounding picture element color. The device 1 reads an average surrounding picture element color deriving program, and derives the average RGB value of the surrounding picture element. The obtained picture element color is received in the territory for average surrounding picture element color in the data memory 3. Further, colors of many existence number are removed from a plurality of prepared colors, and the RGB value largely different from the surrounding picture element color is set as the character color from remaining colors. |
