<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To view and listen to a video tape at a slow speech speed without interruption by outputting E-E pictures and E-E sounds in a slow talking mode from a speech speed conversion circuit section during the time from the action of program searching to the adoption of reproduction mode. SOLUTION: Sound E-E signals inputted from the E-E sound signal input terminal 12 and sound signals coming from a sound magnetic head 1 through an equalizer amplifier 2 are selected by the first switch for E-E/reproduction switching 3 and inputted into a speech speed conversion circuit 5. Then, the sound data is adjusted in its writing speed, written into a memory 11 and read out with a definite clock speed to obtain sounds in a slow speech mode by undergoing talking speed conversion. After that, the sound data is supplied to a line amplifier 10 through the second switch, the third switch and a mute circuit 9 to be amplified and outputted. By this, also for the period from the program searching action to the reproducing mode, E-E picture and E-E sounds can be outputted without interruption in slow speech sound.</p> |
