<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for realizing an on-vehicle multimedia player and an on-vehicle game machine without injuring an amusement property of reproduced software while protecting safety of a driver in a car in an equipment used in the car. SOLUTION: This player is provided with a vehicle running detection circuit 1 deciding whether or not the car is running and a switch 9 switching whether a display device is set up on a front seat or a rear seat, and is provided with a circuit 12 deciding whether a reproduced video signal is a still picture or an animation. Then, for protecting the safety of the driver, the player is constituted so that when the animation is reproduced on the front seat while running, a video output to the display device 7 is prohibited by a video display control circuit 10, and the output of the video signal isn't limited on the rear seat even while running. Thus, the on-vehicle multimedia player and the on-vehicle game machine usable in the car are obtained.</p> |
