The urinal comprises a container (1) in which is an aperture (2) which can be blocked by a slide (3). Liquid escapes from the container through an opening (5) in the lower part of the container. This opening is connected to a flexible pipe (6) connected to a siphon (7). The siphon is adaptable to any existing pipe (9), by a joint system (18), sealing being by a lip joint (8). The container is leaned against a vertical support comprising a fluted tube (10). The container is adjustable in height on the fluted tube by a ring (12) which slides on the tube which is connected to the container by two fitted plates (13,15).
