摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical measuring apparatus capable of measuring an accurate current by reducing the influence of the decrease of the degree of polarization. SOLUTION: First and second LDs 1a, 1b having the same characteristics, first and second polarizers 2a, 2b and first and second Faraday element rows 3a, 3b are arranged under the same conditions. The rows 3a, 3b are placed in a magnetic field of the same conditions by conductors 4a, 4b. A current measuring unit 20 formed of a third Faraday element 17, a Pockels element 16 and a conductor 4c is provided at the output light side of the row 3a via a polarization-degree corrector 22. A polarization degree measuring unit 21 formed of a rotary Glan-Thompson prism 12, a driver 13, a photodiode 14 and a correcting calculator 15 is provided at the output light side of the row 3a. The calculator 15 is connected to the conductor 4c of the corrector 22.</p>
