PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To return a correct answer message by easily sending a request message again when a particle fault is generated in a highly applicable computer system. SOLUTION: A client 21 calls a PALIB 23 of library, adds the same identification information to the normal transmission and retransmission of RPC request and transmits it to a server 31. The present server preserves the received identification information of RPC request in a stable area 35, which is not damaged even at the time of fault, and executes the requested service. When the present server breaks down, the standby server succeeds processing, and a PSLIB 37 detects redundant retransmission(redundant transmission) by comparing the identification information of PRC request retransmitted from the client 21 with the identification information in the stable area 35. Then, the standby server performs returning processing at the time of redundant transmission detection and returns the correct result to the client 21. Besides, when repeating the communication between the client 21 and the server 31 by a repeating server, the identification information of request message to be repeated is preserved not to be affected by the fault of the repeating server. |
