PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a phenomenon in which a magnified display picture is out of focus at a projection type display device. SOLUTION: A black matrix is arranged at a screen 108 as shown by 111 in the figure in constitution in which the pictures formed on liquid crystal panels 104-106 for RGB is projected on the screen 108 from a projecting lens 107. The clear black matrix is arranged in the periphery of respective picture elements 110 on the screen where the picture is constituted even though a projected picture is magnified, so that the display is made clear. |
