PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent printing and recording operation from being stopped if possible when a fault is caused, and also to obtain a printed or recorded matter having high reliability. SOLUTION: A form 41 is fed from a paper feeding tray 42, and a toner image is transferred and fixed on it, and it is ejected on a paper ejecting tray 46. In the case that the fault is caused halfway, the form 41 at a position P2 or on an upstream side therefrom is temporarily stopped to be fed, and when the toner image in a page at the time of the occurrence of the fault is formed on the photoreceptor drum 43, feeding is restarted. Thus, the forms existing at the positions P1 and P2 become unnecessary to be subjected to a purging processing and are effectively used, so that the page order of the printed matter or the like is secured and the reliability is secured. |
