TONER FOR DEVELOPING ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner having satisfactorily blow property, not causing scattering and capable of forming sharp letters. SOLUTION: The particle size distribution of this toner with at least toner particles and inorg. fine powder satisfies the conditions of -5X+35<=Y<=25X+180 and 3.5<=X<=6.5 when the wt. average diameter (D4 ) is represented by X(μm) and the number % of particles of <=3.17μm on number basis obtd. from the number distribution is represented by Y(%). The inorg. fine powder has been treated with a silane coupling agent and has 60-180g/l bulk density and pH4.5-8.5.
