PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect electric equipment from rainwater by providing notch parts in lower frame fitting parts of an elastic member which is fitted so as to cover the outer side of a frame part of a box body and both of the inner and outer sides of extension parts of the frame part. SOLUTION: An elastic member 2 is made of a rubber material and fitted from the fore ends of extension parts 12b, 13b, 14b and 15b of a box body 1 and its has frame fitting parts 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d fitted on the outer sides of frame parts 12a, 13a, 14a and 15a respectively and extension fitting parts 2e, 2f, 2g and 2h fitted on both of the inner and outer sides of the extension parts 12b, 13b, 14b and 15b. This elastic member 2 is provided with notch parts 2j formed in both of the right and left end parts of the lower frame fitting part 2b. In an equipment storage box thus constructed, rainwater or the like penetrating between the elastic member 2 and the frame parts 12a, 13a, 14a and 15a of the box body 1 drops down through the notch parts 2j of the elastic member 2 provided in the lower frame fitting part 2b and, therefore, it is prevented from penetrating into the box body 1 and thus prevented practically from wetting electric equipment. |
