PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic cash register provided with a pop picture generation environment which is more simple and superior in operability. SOLUTION: In a pop picture generation processing, basic image data of a pop picture which an operator selects and designates on a display screen (step S5) and a character input area which is set for basic image data of the pop picture concerned is also displayed on the display screen (step S8). Character data and frame data, which the operator inputs for the character input area, are arranged in the character input area in an optimum way. Thus, the input/ setting operation of character data and frame data, which are synthesized into the basic image data of the pop picture, can easily be executed at the time of generating the pop picture. |
