PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the on-hook/off-hook operation by providing a hook switch hooked on/off by a self-weight of the main body to an outer face of the portable telephone set. SOLUTION: A hook switch 1 is hooked on/off by its own weight of a main body provided to a specific face of the portable telephone set and as an example of a switch state, the hook switch 1 is hooked on when the main body is placed and hooked off when the main body is lifted up. A valid button 4 validates the control in the on/off hook state by a state change in the hook switch 1. A control section 3 is operated while the hook switch 1 is valid to switch a hook state of the portable telephone set in response to a change in the state of the hook switch 1. The hook switch valid state is set for a period till a release button 5 is depressed when power application is taken as a valid state and till an in valid button 6 is depressed after the valid button 4 is depressed when application of power is set to be in valid. |
