PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a plane heater with a large area, which has heating elements formed of ceramics as positive property thermistor. SOLUTION: A body 1 for which band compacts 10 to planely heat materials to be heated are connected together in mutual parallel in the cross direction of the respective compacts 10 at the end faces 10a in the thickness direction of the compacts 10 are provided. Heating elements 2 formed of ceramics as positive property thermistor and feeders 3 for the respective heating elements 2 are filled in the respective compacts 10 in the longitudinal direction of the compacts 10. In this way, the compacts 10 easily molded by a small molding machine can be easily connected together by selectively applying pressure to the ends of the compacts 10 for forcible contact and so the plane body 1 can be easily manufactured. |
