PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the number of times for replacing nozzle by classifying the electronic parts depending on the first, second or third type of suction nozzles being used, carrying out a series of parts mounting operations for first through third groups of electronic parts, and then replacing the nozzle at nozzle holding sections sequentially. SOLUTION: A decision is made (#1) whether a part to be sucked by nozzle S is present and if the parts is present, the parts is sacked by nozzle M, recorded and corrected (#5, #6). The parts sucked by nozzle M is then mounted and, at the same time, a parts is sucked by nozzle S, recorded and corrected (#7, #8). Subsequently, the parts sucked by nozzle M is mounted (#9) and the nozzle at first nozzle holding part is replaced from A to C (#10) and the concepts of M and S are exchanged on the flow chart (#11). According to the method, the number of times for replacing nozzles can be decreased and the time required for electronic parts mounting work can be shortened. |
