SEQUENTIAL SCANNING SIGNAL RECORDER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently encode a sequential scanning TV signal and to improve reproduction image quality by providing a data combination device representing plural frames and unit applying high efficiency coding to combined data and recording the resulting data to a medium. SOLUTION: A signal received from a terminal 101 is converted into combined image data by a combination device 102. The image data are given to a divider 103, in which the data are divided in the unit of coding. A coder 104 conducts high efficiency coding in the coding unit. A recorder 105 records the coded data onto a tape via a magnetic head 107. Furthermore, the data are recorded on the tape 106 by a same number of tracks for recording of a frame as interlace scanning high definition TV signals.
