The sealed joint slide has a cavity (10) to receive the free edge (3) of the rounded glass, particularly a rounded edge. The slide has fluid filled seal strips to engage against one of the main faces of the glass. A pump duct (23) is connected to the fluid filled strips. Closure of the window causes the transfer of fluid by the pump duct toward the strips to exert pressure on the face of the glass. The pump can have ducting positioned opposite to the glass edge.
