PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical pickup in which the positional fluctuation of the image side principal point is lessened at the time of the tangential skew adjustment of the pricipal point by making a plane perpendicular to an optical axis passing a holding part falcrum and passing the image side principal point of an objective lens and a plane passing the image side principal point of the objective lens and perpendicular to the optical axis coincide. SOLUTION: In this optical pickup 10, a movable part 20 holds an objective lens 21 converging the laser beam emitted from a laser beam source on the signal recording surface of an optical disk and a yoke 30 elastically holds the movable part 20 by wires 55 of elastic bodies. Moreover, a tangential skew adjusting mechanism makes the yoke 30 rotatable and adjustable around the yoke side falcrum 31. Consequently, the plane perpendicular to the optical axis passing the falcrum 31 and passing the image side principal point 22 of the objective lens 21 and the plane passing the falcrum 31 and perpendicular to the optical axis are made to almost coincide and the adjustment is facilitated and the accuracy of the adjustment is improved by lessening the positional fluctuation of the principal point 22. |
