The guidance strips are made up of elements (1) in the form of a rigid enclosure. The elements are connected end to end to form a continuous line. The line allows light to pass through and has reflectors to direct light through the side wall. Light is provided by high power fixed lamps at each end of the line. The guidance strips are placed along the path to be defined, being just behind the metal crash barrier in the case of a road, in which case the strip is carried on supports (8) to raise it just above the crash barrier, where it can act as a anti-dazzle rail. The high efficiency lamps are provided with electrical energy accumulated from solar radiation. |
